MW Championships 2017

Caught Looking Productions came to me to execute on their script for the annual MW Championships for 2017 and wanted to rotoscope basketball players as a part of the overall look of their final piece. I love rotoscoping because it allows me to enter a unique zen state in order to get the job done in a reasonable amount of time so I was excited at the opportunity to combine my roto skills with my motion design and editorial ones. Using select rotoscoped shots combined with additional high resolution stills we were able to create a gritty design that evoked the excitement, drama and camaraderie of being at the tournament.
